Whom the Son sets free is free indeed. Today on A Study In The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel discuss the freedom one has when we accept Christ as our Savior. Faith in Christ brings grace, and God’s grace brings the change every human needs, which is transformation into the image of Jesus Christ. Brother Swaggart says we need to settle it in our minds that Jesus Christ paid the price for our victory over all sin in our lives. Then we can know, every single thing will come from keeping our faith anchored in the finished work of Christ. This is a promise from God that will be met; this is where our faith needs to be, for the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. (Romans 8:2)
