When Christ comes back will He find faith in the provision that He has made? Today on A Study In The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel discuss the sin nature and the misunderstanding that exist in the church, as many think that at salvation the sin nature will no longer be a problem. This false teaching is an arrogance that stands in the face of what Christ accomplished on Calvary’s Cross. If we don’t understand the Cross, sin will overcome the believer. If you sow to the flesh it will reap corruption. We cannot defeat the sin in our lives by our works. The Cross produces discipline and reliance on the finished work of Christ and nothing else. Faith in the finished work alone will allow the Holy Spirit to work in our lives and keep the sin nature dormant so we can walk out a victorious Christian life.
