The panel continues in John 14:18, as Brother Swaggart shares his experience of being filled with the Holy Spirit at eight years old. The panel shares how it takes a rooted faith in the Cross and what Christ did there to better understand just what the Holy Spirit has for the believer. Romans 8:2 was the verse that God spoke to Brother Swaggart to help grow his understanding of just what God has for us. Brother Larson adds that the Cross is where we are freed and sanctified; but yes, the Holy Spirit is our power source, to give us the help that we need. He can give us all attitude and action that is pleasing unto God. Revival will not come until the Cross is preached. Brother Don Paul Gray says the church needs to get back to the Cross if it wants to see revival.
