When you go the way of the flesh, even a believer will get burnt out. Today on A Study In The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel discuss the only power source a Christian can have to fight in the spiritual war around us is the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit will work on the believer’s behalf to fight this fight before us when our faith is anchored in the finished work of Jesus Christ. It’s not what we do, but what we believe. Faith in Christ and Him crucified is the only way to find victory over sin and self. Life experience throws everything imaginable in the path of the believer; even the strongest of willpowers cannot withstand the pressures of life. We must go the way of the Cross. His way is the only way.
