Today on A Study In The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and the panel discuss Daniel 11:36. And the king shall do according to his will, and he shall exalt himself and magnify himself above every god; and shall speak marvelous things against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished, for that is determined shall be done. This refers to the Antichrist, who will pretty much have his way until the second advent of Christ. He will magnify himself above every god, refers to him deifying himself. At this time, and according to chapter nine, verse 27, he will take over the newly built Temple in Jerusalem and do away with the Jewish sacrifices, which have not long since begun. He will set up an image of himself and declare war on Christ.
