God does not run out of opportunities to accept repentance. Today on A Study In The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel discuss repentance and how to live this Christian life. Looking at the restoration of a believer who sins, Paul taught how not to walk in the flesh, but rather to walk in the Spirit. The believer must anchor their faith in Christ and what He has done, so that the fruit of the Spirit outshines any fruit of the flesh. Every temptation is the greatest school of learning that God allows in the life of a believer. It shows us where we are. It’s a hard lesson, but temptation shows us what we believe, and whether we are equipping ourselves with what God has granted us so that we won’t be overcome by temptation. Scripture tells us, sin shall not have dominion in our lives.
