Today on A Study In The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and the panel discuss Daniel 11:37. Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god, for he shall magnify himself above all. Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, refers to him being a Jew; he will not regard the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Nor the desire of women, probably refers to him turning against the Catholic Church, and thereby the Virgin Mary, or could possibly have to do with homosexuality. Nor regard any god, refers to the Antichrist magnifying himself above all other religions of the world, where all of which will be outlawed at least where he has controlled, demanding that worship be centered on him. He will hate Christianity far more than he hates any other thing. Christianity he will consider a real opposite force and power against him, and he will seek to destroy it.
