For by grace are you saved through faith. Today on A Study In The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel discuss the teachings of the Apostle Paul reading in Romans 3:21. Man can have a righteous standing with God, but not because of works that we’ve done. Adam and Eve were not righteous, they were innocent, and then they committed an act of sin and became unrighteous. They never stood in righteousness because they were in an innocent environment. When a person comes to Christ, the righteousness of God is instantly conveyed to that individual. It is imputed to us, making us righteous. We are made righteous, because of our faith, in Christ and what He did at the Cross.
