The carnal mind is enmity against God. Jesus Christ came to do what we could not do for ourselves. Today on A Study In the Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel read Romans 8:7-8 discussing God’s way of victory. As believers, we must not depend on the flesh, i.e., any works or efforts of our own. To walk out a victorious Christian life, we must anchor our faith in the finished work of Christ alone, then and only then the Holy Spirit will go to work on our behalf to transform us into the image of Christ.
