The biggest thing that hinders the Holy Spirit, from working in our lives, is us. Today on A Study In The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel discuss what it means to be Pentecostal, and what the Holy Spirit does in the life of a believer. The message of the Cross has opened up the reality of what the Holy Spirit does at salvation; but we should never forget or demean what He wants to do when He fills us with the Holy Spirit, for the purpose of ministry, that being when we receive the baptism with the Holy Spirit. This is for every believer; instead of just thinking it is one or the other, we must understand God has made a way to have both and faith is what operates all the work of the Holy Spirit in our lives personally and for service.
