Today on A Study in The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel discuss Galatians 2:20-21. We begin in the Spirit, and we continue in the Spirit. We must not frustrate the grace of God. For only faith in the finished work of Christ bring us victory over sin, for if righteousness comes by the law then Christ has died in vain. The Apostle Paul said the body is dead because of sin, but when we repent, as a sinful man or woman, we will find life. Faith in Him alone will set all who believe free from the dominion of sin. Brother Larson says and this doesn’t mean sinless perfection, but we will be changed as our faith is maintained. When we standfast in the liberty where Christ has made us free, the Holy Spirit will go to work and sanctify our life and living. There is only victory to be found in the Cross of Christ.
