He has been with you, and He shall be in you. Today on A Study In The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel discuss Acts chapters one and two, teaching on both works of the Spirit. Brother Larson says the Spirit had to start somewhere; for whosoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved, and later we see the baptism with the Holy Spirit coming secondary. Peter is giving an altar call here, and later we see the Holy Spirit infilling with tongues of fire coming upon those who are already saved. God wants to give His fullness of the Spirit. When a believer has one or the other, exclusively, it damages one’s understanding of what all God wants to do.
