Today on A Study In The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel read Romans 8:2 discussing the Lord’s perfect plan for the believer to find victory over every bondage in their life. The Holy Spirit works in us and through us to bring about freedom over sin when we anchor our faith in the finished work of Christ. The believer is complete in Christ. This is where we will find peace and joy, and will no longer wrestle with sin. The believer will not find victory through self-efforts, religious acts, or any other works. We will walk in the sphere of the Spirit; this is, the power of God showing forth in our lives.
