Today on A Study In The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel discuss and being assembled together with them, and commanded them, that they should not depart from Jerusalem, this speaks of the coming Day of Pentecost, and the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. This is a command to every believer to wait for the coming of the Holy Spirit, this infilling then at Pentecost was a new dimension of the Holy Spirit that was made possible by Christ’s death on the Cross. And when the Day of Pentecost was fully come, refers to the feast of Pentecost which was one of the seven great feasts, ordained by God, and practiced by Israel. It took place fifty days after Passover, just as the Holy Spirit comes here fifty days after Christ’s Resurrection;and filled all the house, with the Holy Spirit power on those believing Saints who obeyed Christ, to go wait in Jerusalem.
