Resurrection life comes out of death. Today on A Study In The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel discuss how out of death comes life. We can live a resurrected life without being crucified with Christ. People sincerely want to see their sin gone; it’s not what we do, but what we believe. Romans 6:5, Paul said, if we be planted in the likeness of His death, then we will also be in the likeness of His resurrection. When our faith is anchored in Christ and Him crucified, we then will see the Holy Spirit will go to work to conform us into the image of Christ. The work of the Holy Spirit is His, not ours. This is sanctification; Brother Swaggart says this is the second most important doctrine in the Word of God, just after justification. We can’t ignore the power of sin. It is a daily walk in Christ where we can be over comers to the power of sin.
