It doesn’t take many to create that which needs to be done for the Kingdom of God. Today on A Study In The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel discuss Daniel 3:27-28, seeing how the three Hebrew children survived the fiery furnace with not even the smell of smoke. The God of Israel was thus manifested so much higher than the Babylonian god of fire. Brother Swaggart asks, where did these nations of that era get these gods, how long had their loyalty been, as they attributed every battle won to their gods? The panel discusses the history of the different religions and how worship has gone from the various gods to the worship of man and self. Many people worship religion, things they can do; establishing manmade laws to make men feel better about their failures. Sadly, Brother Swaggart believes there is less worship of Jehovah in this nation today. But be encouraged, there is a remnant; even a small number of believers pursuing God with all their being, is powerful in the plan of God.
