Who are the enemies of the Cross? Today on A Study In The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel discuss the Spiritually minded, and those who keep their minds on earthly things, and their god is their belly. The new age mixture, of gnostic thinking, is destroying true doctrine and the wisdom that comes through understanding bible prophecy. The panel discusses how so many believers are focusing on the here and now, never seeking knowledge for what’s to come in preparation for what God’s Word tells us about end time events. Christians are called to evangelize the world, yet so many in the church no longer look to do the work of the kingdom. Christ said to go ye into all the world and preach the Gospel. Brother Larson says, without this emphasis, we’ve lost the whole purpose of the church, and we end up with churches full of prideful people trying to build their own kingdoms. Brother Swaggart says this is unfortunate, for as the return of Christ draws near, the church needs to be ready, reaching lost souls for the furthering of His Kingdom.
