Today on A Study In The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel read Romans 8:3 discussing man trying to live for God by a system of laws. Brother Larson explains flesh as it regards our humanity; man was created without sin, but when Adam and Eve fell in the garden, it triggered the sin nature to come into man and affect our flesh. When we say yes to the finished work of Christ, the sin nature becomes dormant, and its corrupting force is unplugged and the renewing process of the inward man begins by the power of the Holy Spirit. We are being renewed day by day.
