Creation demands a creator. Today on A Study In The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and the panel discuss Romans 1:19. Paul writes that creation confirms that there is a God, and things didn’t just happen. Our education system, as a whole, particularly in America, doesn’t put forth Creationism because the goal is to eliminate God completely from the equation. If you teach creationism from the bible, then you have to continue teaching the rest of the bible, which says man is a sinner, and demands a Savior. Brother Josh says, while there are many Christian teachers and professors in the public school system and on college campuses, often they are forbidden to teach Creationism and have to go along with teaching evolution to maintain employment. Brother Josh says this is a far cry from just one hundred years ago when a Tennessee teacher, John Scopes, was in a court battle; the case, the great Scope’s monkey trial, which resulted in the fining of Scopes for his teaching of evolution.
