Even after salvation, believers continue to deal with the presence of sin, but they often attempt to deal with sin by imposing onto themselves religious rules. If the believer tries to gain victory over sin through personal effort, they will eventually burn out and fall into sin. Believers need to understand what the sin nature is and how its power is defeated by Jesus' death at Calvary.
