Believers are the salt and light of the world. Today on A Study In The Word, Brother Swaggart and panel discuss how the Holy Spirit was with Daniel. Brother Smith asks, why is the church today becoming like the magicians and soothsayers of Daniel’s day? If you turn to the world, you have to turn away from the truth of the Gospel. Brother Gray shares how he believes Daniel was prayed up and ready to do the will of God as the Holy Spirit guided. He desired to be obedient to God. Daniel was exiled out of Judah, so he had a knowledge and remembered his previous land; but the generations after him were born into exile and didn’t know what Daniel knew with regards to obedience and reverence to God. Brother Josh believes this is what we are seeing in the modern church today; with regards to learning and adhering to the Message of the Cross, many have never heard this truth.
