Brother Swaggart explains the hopelessness of oppression and the darkness of depression. Brother Bob Cornell says external events can bring oppression, while then depression brings the hopelessness inside to put the individual in a place where they feel there is no way out. Brother Dave Smith offers Matthew 14:29, that just as Peter needed to ask the Lord for help as he walked on the water with Christ in the storm. Brother Smith says, the storms are going to come in a Christian’s life, the believer, as Peter, must call on the Lord to walk on their storm with Christ.
