Today on A Study In The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel read Romans 3:23 and 2nd Corinthians 7:1 discussing the answer for man’s problem and how we are wholly saved and are continually being transformed into the righteousness of Christ. Everyone who is born again has the power of the sin nature broken; while it still remains within us, it is to stay dormant. The sin nature is to no longer dominate the believer, but it can be revived if we do not keep our faith in Christ and Him crucified. Brother Larson explains how with the sin nature silenced; we still have to deal with our flesh. Flesh is what is impacted by the sin nature. Flesh is man minus God; it consists of the body and heart, mind, soul, and Spirit. The sin nature corrupting the flesh produces all manor of evil. We are to ever be dependent on the finished work of Christ, as He is renewing us day by day.
