Today on A Study In The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel discuss the false doctrine of unconditional eternal security. Do you not know that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? This shoots down the unscriptural doctrine of unconditional eternal security. Let no man deceive you, neither fornicators nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, or abusers of themselves with mankind, shall enter the kingdom of God. Those who call themselves believers, but yet continue to practice the sins mentioned, whom the Holy Spirit says are not saved irrespective of their claims. Brother Swaggart says there are millions upon millions of Christians around the world, who are struggling with problems because they do not understand what believing on the blood of Jesus affords them. Our eternity with Christ is eternal, but it is conditional. Our faith must stay rooted in Christ, and the Holy Spirit will take care of the those things that hinder our testimony.
