GIVE US BOLDNESS, AND PERFORM MIRACLES- Tonight Pastor Paris Ragan preaches on the power of God poured out at Pentecost, in Acts 4:23-29. Brother Paris asks, do you know who God is? After Christ’s ascension, His disciples obeyed Him, and waited in Jerusalem until they were endued with power from on high. They were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke in other tongues. Brother Paris reminds us of the reaction from humanity on these very first Pentecostals; the people around them wondered, and then they mocked. Brother Paris says all Pentecostal’s should be proud that they have good lineage, because they are filled with the very power of God. Spirit filled believers have the power of God, and should tell the world what the very Word of God has to say. Brother Paris says believers should want ALL that God has to give, and we should get excited about that. God said in the last days, He will pour out His Spirit on all flesh. Peter and the other disciples could not contain the joy of the Lord, despite the religious hierarchy trying to silence them. Brother Paris says Christians today need to come back to the truth, pray and call on God. Thou art God, and His power is something to shout about.
