HE CAN HANDLE TOMORROW- Tonight at Crossfire, Associate Pastor Shaun Murphy reads Matthew 6:25-34 looking at God’s intention towards all of humanity. In the very beginning we see, God creates Adam, Adam transgresses the covenant and falls in the garden. God says in Genesis chapter 3 to the serpent, speaking to Satan, I will that you are going to bruise His heel; this promised seed I have, but He will crush your head. So while Satan thinks he’s destroyed the covenant, God has a plan with humanity, a promise to bring restoration. At the very beginning, God is saying to Satan, I will right this wrong, from the beginning to the end. Brother Shaun says be encouraged, God becomes the second Adam in Jesus Christ, paying the debt for the first Adam, and reestablishes the covenant God intended with humanity that would last forever.
