If you’re living in sin, whether you’re unsaved or a believer, the wrath of God is revealed against sin today; not tomorrow, not just in the future, but today. There are consequences to sin always. There’s dread for those that continue in rebellion and sin. Let this be an encouragement to the believer who may be experiencing the wrath of God upon their sin; God is not just punishing you, it is chastisement. Chastisement is not judgment or punishment. It is the Father’s love for you. It is the Father directing His good will towards you, because He loves you enough to not let you continue in a downward direction. God deserves the honor that we take Him seriously. Pastor Paris asks, what do you see coming, are you ready?
