THE GOD WHO SEES- No matter our circumstances, we must not leave the will of God. Tonight at Crossfire, Powerhouse Kidz Pastor Jonathan Steele reads Genesis 16:6-13 teaching on the story of Abraham, Sarah, and Hagar and the promise God made to Abraham. God promises Abraham a seed and a land. Just as Abraham, so often, there is a wait to receiving our blessings God has for us. In our waiting, we must not try to work out our circumstances on our own. When we doubt God’s will, and turn to self-efforts, it never turns out good. Brother Jonathan looks to the response of Hagar to run, as she despised Sarah for her affliction in her servitude to carry Ishmael. God saw Hagar, and He sees us. He cares for us; don’t run, but turn around to the God who loves.
