JESUS, MY VICTORY BANNER- He will destroy them, and put them out of our memory forever. Tonight at Crossfire, Pastor Paris Ragan reads Exodus 17:8-14 teaching on how God deals with our enemies. Brother Paris shares the story of the War of 1812, and the writing of the “Star-Spangled Banner” by Francis Scott Key. Our National Anthem depicts the great battle victory that Key witnessed. Brother Paris says even that victory cannot compare to the rallying banner of Jesus Christ on Calvary’s Cross and our faith in Him. We see through this story of Moses, lifting up a standard, where Joshua’s success in the valley only came when Moses was surrender and at rest, submitted to God’s plan. He is our Jehovah-Nissi.
