HE CARES FOR YOU, SO PUT HIM FIRST- Tonight at Crossfire, Pastor Paris Ragan reads Matthew 6:25-34, teaching on the faithfulness of God. As believers, He tells us to seek first, His Kingdom, and then all other needs will be taken care of. He gave His life for sinful man and the moment that we said yes to Him, He took the seat on the throne of our heart. Nothing else belongs there, no person, no philosophy, no religion, nothing. Only God deserves to reign there, and He’s not just reigning there as the Lion of the tribe of Judah, He reigns as the Lamb of God Slain before the foundations of the world. The word to you is, take no thought for your life and that literally means do not be worried. Stop being pulled in other directions. Worrying is placing your heart, and your mind, on different cares and concerns of life. Once we begin to move our eyes onto all of the problems then the uneasiness, the weight, the fear, and confusion begins to settle down into our hearts and that finds us no longer anchoring our faith in Christ, but in self. Be assured believer we can depend on Him for ALL of our needs. Nature itself declares that God will provide for His creation.
