Tonight at Crossfire, Pastor Gabriel Swaggart preaches from Philippians 4:4-7 as he teaches on the difference between justifying peace and the sanctifying peace of God. Because of sin, there is enmity between us and God. When we accept Christ as our Savior, peace is restored. His peace is justifying us. In these verses, the Apostle Paul talks about sanctifying peace. Pastor Gabe says not every Christian has sanctifying peace. This comes through our faith being tested. In 1 Peter 4:12, we read, don’t think it strange when these fiery darts of the enemy come against you. As believers, we are going to go through some problems. We'll face some giants, for it rains on the just and the unjust. God wants to mold us, because all faith has to be proven. He won’t let us fail, even in our darkest hour.
