PROGRESSIVE SANCTIFICATION- Tonight at Crossfire, Pastor Paris Ragan reads Colossians 3:4-10 teaching on sanctification in the life of the believer. All believers’ are in a process of progressive sanctification, of change, and of transformation in our hearts and lives. We have a need; for we all have some ugly inside, and we must not feel comfortable with such nastiness in our hearts, for if we do, we are in a very dangerous place. Pastor Paris says this is a place where we cannot grow or be changed if we are comfortable with our sin. When we say yes to Christ, God acknowledges our faith, and saves us from our sin. The Holy Spirit then goes to work on our behalf to change us into the image of Jesus Christ, bringing our condition up to our position in Him.
