JESUS FULFILLS THAT NEED- Tonight at Crossfire, Pastor Paris Ragan reads Matthew 1:19-25 teaching on the Gospel of Matthew and how everything in the Old Testament points to Christ. He is the fulfillment of the law. He is the fulfillment of the prophets. He is the fulfillment of absolutely everything. Jesus fulfills all that the Old Testament had promised, but He’s not just the fulfillment of the Old. He is the Revelation, and He is the authoritative teacher of the New. We do not know anything about God but by revelation, by a supernatural moving of the Holy Spirit to open up our minds and hearts to see the reality of who Jesus is and what He’s accomplished at Calvary. Matthew is saying over and over again, Jesus came and was the one they were looking for, but the Jews missed it. He’s the One that came to satisfy the longings of the heart. He’s the One that wants to fulfill us. Will you let Him?
