THE POWER OF PENTECOST- Have you been filled with the Holy Spirit? Tonight at Crossfire, Pastor Torrance Nash explains the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, which is always initially evidence by speaking in other tongues. The Spirit of God moved on the day of Pentecost, and those who were there began to speak with other tongues. They experienced God’s power, and the moving of the Spirit. The Holy Spirit didn’t just come to change the language of the people, but He came to dwell in the heart and the life of the believer. He came to permanently reside in man’s heart to change us, so that we can be what we ought to be, and be used for spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We don’t just want to experience tongues, but we should desire the full power of Pentecost. We don’t want to just prophecy, but experience the fullness of what God gives us.
