THE POSSESSION OF GOD THROUGH CHRIST- I have grafted in the Gentile body. Tonight at Crossfire, Pastor Gabriel Swaggart preaches from Ephesians 1:11-13. Paul is writing to the church of Ephesus, a Gentile church. He is explaining Old Testament theology, because in Old Testament theology God had a people; a covenant people, Israel. It was His people that He had relationship with, but they lost their way. Paul is telling the Gentile church, you are God’s possession. We, who are not Jews, are Gentiles. In Christ, we are His inheritance; we’re not just someone on the outside looking in. We have been grafted into the family of God.
