THE SUPERIORITY OF JESUS’ PRIESTHOOD-ARE YOU TOO LAZY TO UNDERSTAND- Backsliding begins with no longer growing in our personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Tonight at Crossfire, Pastor Paris teaches on the exaltation of Jesus Christ. We must solidify our faith in Christ crucified. There are many warnings in the Book of Hebrews that we must follow, and not be complacent. Jesus Christ became our high priest; fulfilling that, which was Melchizedek, a type of Christ in the Old Covenant. Jesus is the mediator we all need. He is a better covenant, and that covenant surrounds a much better sacrifice. When we embrace what we have in Christ, we all become priests. When we have tasted resurrection life, all of us become priests, and now have access to the Holy of Holies. Where Jesus has gone before the Father, and when we are in Christ we get to go there too, forever. We get to reside in the Holy Place in front of the Father crying out holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty.
