THE WRATH OF GOD AND THE BLOOD OF THE LAMB- Tonight at Crossfire, Associate Youth Pastor Shaun Murphy reads Ephesians 2:1-9 teaching on self, flesh, and the sin nature. Dominated by selfishness and pride. Pride simply means to be lifted up. If you look at the fall of humanity and Lucifer, they are attempting to be lifted up into the place of God. That’s the foundation of all sin. I will be my own God. We are naturally born as sons and daughters of disobedience. This is why we must be born-again, because when we’re born again, we are given a new nature, a new heart. Now, through the ongoing process of sanctification, because we have anchored our faith in the blood of Jesus Christ, our old nature can stay dormant as we keep our faith in Christ and Him alone.
