THE RISE AND FALL OF UZZIAH— Tonight at Crossfire Pastor Gabriel Swaggart preaches from Chronicles 26:1-5. Speaking of Uzziah, scripture says, he did that which was right in the sight of the Lord; and he sought God in the days of Zechariah. Zechariah was a priest, who had understanding in the visions of God. This statement is powerful, and as long as he sought the Lord, God made him to prosper. Pastor Gabe preaches on the power of this promise through the rise and the fall of Uzziah. It was a spectacular rise, and yet it was a horrible, horrible fall. Uzziah became king at sixteen years of age. He was taught what it meant to have reverence and respect for God, and for the things of God. Pastor Gabe says it is time for our older generation to start teaching our younger generation what it means to have respect for the things of God.
