THE FOUNDATION OF PAUL’S THEOLOGY- Tonight at Crossfire, Pastor Paris Ragan preaches from Romans 1:16-17. The Apostle Paul was saved, born again, transformed, and changed, when he said, “Lord what would you have me to do?” Pastor Ragan says this is the only proper response to salvation; that is, responding in total commitment. It’s not something that has to be taught; but inside, there is a longing to love the Lord. Now, as the Apostle Paul discovered, even though he is saved, he still had struggles in his life for doing the things he knew God would want him to do, and not to do the things that would be displeasing to God. Paul teaches the early church what it means to be standing in right relationship with God, by faith we are justified; but when it comes to victorious living, there are things we must learn about the finished work of Christ.
