THE POWER OF GOD- Do you know who you are in Christ? Tonight at Family Worship Center, Prison Ministry Pastor Jim Law shares his testimony of salvation out of a life of drugs and alcohol addiction that began at the young age of ten and resulted in nine years in prison for the crimes he had committed. Brother Law reads 1 Corinthians 2:1-2 sharing how through the preaching of the Cross he has learned to walk in the power of God. Through decades of leading prison ministry, he has seen thousands of inmates come to Christ and teaches them how to walk in the benefits of the Cross, which is power and authority that comes when faith is anchored in the finished work of Christ. Brother Law says all Christians face spiritual warfare at some point in their lives, but when we step up and stand up in faith, and obedience to His Word, we will be victorious and God will do what needs to be done in our lives.
