PREACHERS, JESTERS, AND SOPHISTS- Tonight at Family Worship Center, Crossfire Associate Youth Pastor, Shaun Murphy reads 1st Corinthians 2:1-5, as he preaches a bold message to the church. He addresses the moral decline and the acceptance of sin, and the church leaders who don’t address it. Pastor Shaun says, if America is going to have a much-needed revival, the church must first repent; for as the church goes, so goes a nation. The church has too many of the gifts on display as entertainment, and philosophers are bending far too many ears. Persuasion is ruling over truth. God is calling His church to come back to the Cross, and sow the seeds of righteousness in these perilous times. This must be done in grace, humility, and love to touch this world as God desires.
