Do you want to see yourself as God sees you? Just what are you expecting God for? Tonight Pastor Dave Smith shares Luke 4:18 and Acts 3:1. He reminds that we all owe a debt we cannot pay, but Jesus came to the poor in Spirit to pay that debt. We all must realize we are morally bankrupt and need to call on the name of Jesus to be saved. Brother Smith shares the story of the lame man who begged for alms for forty-four years until Christ healed him. When we are in Christ, we are loved, and we can be confident and expect better circumstances. When God is with us, we should not settle for anything less than God’s best.
