THE CROSS WORKS- Tonight at Family Worship Center, Pastor Carl Brown preaches from Joshua 7:1-13, encouraging us that God is with us just as He was with the Israelites of the Old Testament. He will open our Red Seas, our Jordan Rivers, and help us tear down those Jericho walls. Brother Brown says we must, however confess our sins and repent of them to God. If we don’t, He will leave us to our circumstances. Because of Achan’s unrepented personal sin, the small army of Ai defeated the Israelites. The farther we go from the Lord’s conviction, we’ll find, He will leave us to ourselves and our sin, and we will end up farther and farther away from God. We must seek Him for forgiveness, and He will be a just God to answer with blessing, healing, and victory. With God, there is no neutral in our Christian walk; we’re either going forward or we’re going backwards.
