HELPLESS, BUT NOT HOPELESS- The Holy Spirit wants to anoint us, and use us. Tonight at Family Worship Center, Pastor Dave Smith reads Luke 4:17-18 teaching how believers have the anointed one living inside. Without Christ, we are nothing. When this realization is made clear to us, we will come to an understanding of what all He has done in our lives, and we’ll wish the same for all who are lost. Before Christ, we are captives in need; but in Christ, we have been delivered from our sins, and come to an understanding of how God heals our hurts and empowers us from within. Despite the circumstances of life, that Satan will try to use to steal, kill, and destroy our faith, we must remember we are forgiven. When we call on the name of Jesus, He gives a liberty to those who have been bruised. For all who believe on the finished work of Christ, we can find a rest, for the yoke of our Heavenly Father is easy and light. He is a faithful God.
