SILENCE EQUALS CONSENT- Tonight at Family Worship Center, Historian and Author, William Federer preaches to us from Leviticus chapter 20, and from Proverbs 24:11-12. He walks us through the history of Christianity, but settles in on the story of Moses striking the rock a second time, which went against what God commanded. Aaron knew this was wrong, but remained silent. And the Apostle Paul watched silently as Stephen was stoned to death for his faith. Brother Federer says as a Christian we must not remain silent for the things of God. He says too many in the church are doing just that; showing silence by claiming not to involve itself with "politics", which is really morality, and it's being jeopardized as the evil ways of sinful man are coming after our children. Jesus loves the children, and He loves us. The crises taking hold of our nation should urge us to seek His ways and His love, and when we know what we have in Him we won't want to be silent.
