PREPARED IN THE PIT- Tonight at Family Worship Center, Pastor Grace Brumley reads Psalms 105:15-17 teaching on the life of Joseph. His life story demonstrates time and time again, God will take care of all our afflictions when we are obedient to His call. Joseph experienced extreme life circumstances, beginning with the betrayal of his own brothers, leaving him in a pit. God prepared Joseph in that pit, and later in a prison. God brought Joseph to a place of respect in Pharaoh’s palace some 20 years later. Sister Grace says Joseph was called to feed God’s people, and that he did. Our palaces will look different than Joseph’s, but we must submit to God’s will and deny our own will. He will cause us to forget and be fruitful in the land of affliction. We will see the promises of God if we will only allow Him to have His will in our lives.
