THE EXILE IS ALMOST OVER- Jesus Christ is coming back, and it won’t be very long. Tonight Pastor Paris Ragan preaches from Revelation 22:20. He asks, are we desperate to see a move of God with revival like we’ve never known? He shares the testimony of a young believer by the name of Florrie Evans at the beginning of the great Welsh Revival. She said simply, "I love Jesus Christ with all of my heart”. What is the life, the breadth, and the depth of the love of Christ? Love is at the heart of revival. Love is defined through the character of God. Brother Paris shares 1 King 8:46-48 how many in Israel were in rebellion and had been led away and were being held captive in exile. We all, because of Adam’s fall, can find ourselves in exile; we live in a land that is not our home. As Daniel, realized Israel had left the House of Sacrifice, he began to pray for his desire and for Israel to return home to their first love. There was a desperation in the people then, and should be one today for all the things of God. We must not drift from our source of God’s love that will continue to change us until we make heaven our permanent home. Pastor Paris says we need revival to build the Kingdom of God by sharing the love of God to the lost. Have we left our first love? The church must come back to the Cross of Christ and be revived again.
