THE POWER OF PRAYER- Tonight at Family Worship Center, Pastor Don Paul Gray preaches from Jeremiah 33:3, Hebrews 4:16, and Acts 12:1-5. Pastor Gray encourages all believers to pray as the early church did when the power of Pentecost fell in Jerusalem. The bible is filled with stories of persecution, with a multitude of believers falling on their knees in prayer. After Pentecost, Peter preached with boldness like never before, and three thousand were saved. Brother Gray reminds us to approach God with humility, and know the power that comes in the name of Jesus. When we place our faith exclusively in the Cross of Christ, blessings come. God hears His children when they stand together in faith and persevere in prayer together. Jesus Christ is interceding for the church; we can have confidence in Him, and gird ourselves in His truth. Pastor Gray encourages the church to pray like never before to stop the evil we see before us; prayer will change our circumstances when we call unto our Heavenly Father who made a way through Christ. We have victory in Christ when we believe.
