JUBILEE- In Christ, we have been set free. Today at Family Worship Center, Pastor Donnie Swaggart reads Luke 4:16-19 preaching on the Jubilee we have in Christ Jesus. Before the foundation of the world, God knew humanity would fall, so He provided His redemption plan through faith in Christ and Him crucified to be the only salvation for the lost. Through His incarnation, God stepped out of heaven to make man’s way of escape. John the Baptist called the sinner to repentance, and to behold the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world. All sins are only symptoms of the sin nature within us, and the sin nature rebels against the divine nature of God. Satan tempts because his goal is to see all of humanity step out of the will of God Almighty. Brother Donnie says hold on, for God has a perfect time just as in the Year of Jubilee. During this time, in the Old Covenant, freedom was given from all debts owed, land that was sold was returned to its original owners, and slaves were set free. Now, in Christ, this scripture has been fulfilled; for if we have Jesus, He is our Jubilee, every year, every month, every week, every day, and every second.
