THIS POOR MAN CRIED- Today at Family Worship Center, Pastor Donnie Swaggart reads Psalm 34:1-6 teaching on trust, worship, and praise, which is the theme of the Book of Psalms, earth’s first songbook. Music can be a force of goodness and righteousness in the church, but if God does not anoint it, it can hinder a service. All too often, modern Christian songs do not contain the theology that they should; they should include the blood of the finished work of Christ. Brother Donnie says when the theology of a song is correct, the Holy Spirit will anoint it, and it can accomplish everything that a sermon can. Praise to the Lord will build faith every time. Brother Donnie reminds us of the story of David and how his fear found him leaving where God had planted him. Jesus’ death on Calvary’s Cross defeated ever evil attempt of Satan to tear down the believer. We need to be builders for the Kingdom of God, for through the Cross, He has accomplished all things.
